Multi-disciplinary artist with a broad range of related interests and a wide skills base. The underlying principles come from Maths, Natural Geometry, the History of Science and technology across cultures, and the evoluton of how we percieve the world that we inhabit. 

Pigments, Alchemy and Chemistry

Long term research interests in the Arts of the Book and Painting in the Islamic World and the Indian Subcontinent. This includes the study of design and the preparation and use of pigments derived from mineral and organic sources. This also leads to an interest in the significance of pigment substances in relation to philosophy, medicine and chemistry,

Skills Base

Two-dimensional and sculpural work in a variety of media, including Geometry, Drawing, Painting, Pigment-Making, Digital, Etching, Paper-Sculpture, Metal Sculpture and Textile Arts.
