DARK MIRROR came about partly as a response to seeing the distant reflection of a young woman in the mirror of Iron Genie, partly as an exercise in TIG welding and gilding. The heavy steel frame and three layers of distressed glass gilded with grey Palladium leaf give the viewer a dark, distant and disembodied reflection.  Shown installed with steel chains and zinc etching plates.
